Current
Ashira co-founded Eagle Talon Partners alongside Karim in 2020. She develops and optimizes trading algorithms using statistical analysis and machine learning.

Experience
With 10+ years of coding experience, Ashira specializes in quantitative analysis. Prior to Eagle Talon, she spent two summers as a quantitative developer and researcher at AJO Partners, a $17B+ AUM systematic investing fund.

Education
Ashira graduated from Amherst College with a BA in Computer Science and Mathematics. She further specialized in Computer Science at the University of Oxford while studying abroad there for a year. In 2020, the Amherst Board of Trustees honored her with the Samuel Walley Brown Scholarship for being the highest ranked Junior in character, class leadership, scholarship, and athletic ability.

Community
Ashira is a Junior Board Member at Reclaim Childhood and a former Junior Board Co-Chair of Squash Dreamers, both non-profits that empower refugee and at-risk girls in the Middle East through sports. She is also the President of Cornell’s Recreational Squash Club.

Interests
From New York City, Ashira is now based out of Ithaca, NY and Naples, FL. She enjoys playing squash and reading.
